What are the firmware upgrade steps for fortigate?

We have a Fortigate 90D currently using v5.6.0 build 1449 firmware. Is it correct that I would have to first upgrade to v6.0.0 and then directly to v6.0.9? Or do I have to go through each step in the 6.0.x series?

In such situations, please always use the Upgrade Path tool on the Fortinet site - it is the "source of truth" to say so.

Checking there tells that to upgrade from 5.6.1 (no 5.6.0 as starting point) to 6.0.9 would require:
