Local IP can't be reached nor pinged.

I used to access my fortigate 40F thru LAN (10.10.10.1). When i hooked a public IP in the wan, the LAN interface cant be reached anymore and its not pingable too. Can someone help with the matter cause i can't seem to find a solution anywhere.
