Should I just use Web Application Filter on FGT/FOS or a dedicated Fortinet products?

I want to prevent brute force login attacks from my small web application. I'm not sure if I want to expense for the FortiWeb to protect my site.

FortiGate WAF is very light weight, it creates a variety of options called Signature and Constrain, which I assume it might not serve all your purpose. Details can be found here:
